Michelle received her degree from Cal State LA in Child Development and is a California-born single mom to three kids, all with unique abilities and needs. After working as a Child Life Specialist at UCLA for many years she noticed a huge lapse in support for severely underserved teenagers dealing with life-threatening illnesses and wanted to create an organization to solve this issue. In 2010 she started Wish Upon a Teen and today the organization serves over 75 pediatric hospitals across the country with our signature Design My Room® Program.
She has been a freelance personal/executive assistant since 2016 and during some downtime in 2020, she created a personalized on-demand online gifting service while supporting charities that empower girls and women in the community.
Joining A2Z in January 2023 as Jane’s personal/executive assistant has been an incredible and extremely rewarding opportunity. Michelle has a passion for advocating for those that don’t have a voice of their own. She is currently living in Malibu with her children and is a proud member of the Female Founder Collective, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, NAACP, Founder/Board member at Wish Upon a Teen, Autism Activist, and Parent Panelist for Spectrum Training Solutions.
