Emily Hart graduated cum laude from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a concentration in Law and Society. She then graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School with a Juris Doctor degree and concentrations in both Public Interest Law and Criminal Law and Advocacy. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
Emily joined A2Z April of 2025, she first gained experience in special education advocacy by participating in her law school’s pro bono Children’s Rights Clinic. Since then, Emily has remained committed to advocating for the rights of children with disabilities. Emily has successfully resolved special education cases in a wide range of school districts across all of California by advocating for changes in her clients’ support, services, and placement through 504 Plan/IEP meetings, negotiations, and Due Process hearings. Emily’s dedication to her clients and her skillful advocacy makes her a valuable resource for families navigating the complex legal challenges with their school districts.
